The DR Medical The Solace TLSO 4-Panel (BB-161) provides tri-planar trunk control with four rigid plastic shells and a string and roller system with waist pull tabs for adjustable lumbar support. The posterior panel extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to below the scapular spine, while the padded rigid anterior panel spans from the symphysis pubis to the sternal notch. The brace restricts gross trunk motion in the sagittal, coronal and transverse planes. Lateral strength is provided by overlapping plastic support closures to provide maximum trunk stabilization. The back plate combined with the rigid front and lateral support panels help to hold the spine in appropriate alignment to provide more rapid tissue healing and decreased pain. Padded shoulder straps attach to a height-adjustable anterior thoracic support bar with quick-release buckles for easy fitting. Waist belts can be trimmed to fit sizes S to 3XL or can be combined with an optional belt extension to fit larger sizes.
