he ISO Preferred TLSO w/Lateral Control Panels (BA260) features tri-planar trunk control with a modular system of four rigid plastic shells that limit motion in the sagittal, coronal, and transverse planes. The posterior panel extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to below the scapular spine, while the soft lined rigid anterior panel spans from the symphysis pubis to the sternal notch. Lateral strength is provided by overlapping plastic support closures to provide maximum trunk stabilization. The back plate combined with the rigid front and lateral support panels help to hold the spine in appropriate alignment to provide more rapid tissue healing and decreased pain. Padded shoulder straps attach to an adjustable anterior thoracic support bar with quick-release buckles for easy fitting. The support bar features adjustable padded oval cushions for comfort against the sternum. Shoulder straps meet at the spine with an adjustable center strap for a secure fit. Waist belts can be trimmed to fit sizes S to 2XL or can be combined with an optional belt extension to fit larger sizes.
